Margaret River, Tree Top Walk, Denmark, Albany Tour 2010

Three Day Tour

.Day One
Pick up 7am
Busselton, Margaret River, Augusta, Cape Leeuwin.
On our way down to the Margaret River region we stop for morning tea at Bunbury.
The highlights today are visit Busselton Jetty Where you see the two kilometre long jetty juts into Geograhphe Bay.

Visit Eagle Bay and Meelup Beach that have pristine white beaches with sparkling aquamarine water.

Go to Canal Rocks and see the scenic coastline, white sandy beaches, ragged rock formations and spot passing dolphins in the Indian Ocean.

Travel along the famous scenic Caves Road home to many of Margaret River region premier vineyards. We will stop at a winery to taste internationally acclaimed wines. Pay a visit to Surfers Point at the mouth of Margaret River, one of Margaret River regions known surfing spots.

We head south touring through the Boranup Forest tall Karri timber to Augusta and Cape Leeuwin to visit the Cape Leeuwin Light House and see the convergence of the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean.

Our over night stay in Margaret River is at award winning Rosewood Guest House B&B which is walking distance to shops, cafes, hotels, and restaurants.
This evening we have dinner at Wino’s

Day Two
Margaret River, Pemberton, Tree Top Walk, Denmark
After breakfast tour to Pemberton an old timber town that now enjoys a new life style showing off its natural beauty of old growth Karri forests. Climb Gloucester Tree the highest fire lookout tree in the world.

Visit Golden Grape Gallery containing locally produced works. Continue south to Walpole touring through majestic tall Karri forests on our way. Walpole is surrounded by National Parks.

We will have lunch at Walpole before touring to the remarkable Tingle Forest and visit the amazing Tree Top Walk and Valley of the Giants.

The drive into the Tree Top Walk is spectacular. Karri and Red Tingle Trees loom out of the forest an indication of what is to come at the Tree Top Walk and the Ancient Empire.

You must experience the Tree Top Walk. Stroll among the upper branches of giant Tingle and Karri Trees for a "birds eye view" of the southern forests. This is a fun and exhilarating thing to do.

Nearby under the Tree Top Walk is a winding boardwalk that takes you through a grove of veteran Red Tingle trees called the Ancient Empire. You can even walk through the hollowed out butt of one tree.

Travel on to spectacular William Bay and take a walk on the beach. Our overnight stay is at delightful Denmark offering fantastic scenery, great food and comfortable overnight accommodation at The Grange B&B.

Our accommodation has panoramic pastoral valley views from the wide verandahs of a homestead perched on picturesque hillside - 3 kms from the heart of Denmark.

Day Three
Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Perth
After breakfast we tour the scenic route in to Albany to visit the Natural Bridge and The Gap.

Travel in to Albany for a coffee break and take a look at the town. Visit Mount Clarence for great views of Albany coastline, Stirling Ranges and Porongurup's.

On our return trip to Perth visit Mount Barker a agriculture and wine growing town where we will have lunch. We will be touring through attractive premier agriculture land to have you back in Perth at about 5.30.
