Kalbarri Three Day Tour

  Day One
Perth , Pinnacles, Kalbarri

 At the Pinnacles to take a look at this spectacular sight of thousands of limestone pillars in a yellow sand dessert resembling an ancient ruin.

We travel along the scenic coast road which is known for its biodiversity of flora. We take a break for lunch at a popular seaside town Dongara.

 This afternoon we tour on to Geraldton the commercial centre for the Mid-West exporting Iron Ore, Mineral Sands, Wheat, Barley and Western Australia Rock Lobster.

 Visit Northampton one of the oldest settlements outside Perth today it is classified by the National Trust as a Historic Town

 The natural reef surrounding the Port Gregory bay, has led to the use of the area as a port for lead from Geraldine mine, whaling, salt and wool. Today at nearby Hutt Lagoon we see a vivid pink salt lake where
beta-carotene is harvested for commercial use.

 Kalbarri is nestled at the Murchison River mouth and surrounded by stunning coastline, soaring river gorges and protected bays. On our way into Kalbarri visit the stunning sights along the coast, Natural Bridge, Pot Alley and Red Bluff highlighting the coastal gorges and magnificent scenery.

For the next two nights Kalbarri is our overnight stay. Our accommodation is close to the river and ocean beaches so you able to go for a swim or go for walk on the many walking trails

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant over looking the mouth of the Murchison River.

 Day Two
Kalbarri, Murchison River Gorges and regional sightseeing.
 Today is a relaxing day we visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see The Loop and Nature’s Window a natural rock arch that frames the upstream views and visit the Z Bend which affords stunning views of the colourful Murchison River Gorge
 
This afternoon you can relax by the pool, go for walks along the river or the beach, or we can continue a sight seeing drive along the near by coast.

You may wish to go for a sight seeing air flight to really take in the extraordinary landforms.

Day Three
Kalbarri Geraldton  Perth
 We take a scenic route back to Perth touring through the rich agricultural Chapman Valley with the magnificent flat-topped Moresby Ranges as its back drop.

 In Geraldton we visit HMAS Sydney Memorial. The beautifully designed memorial features a silver dome of 645 seagulls to represent the lost of HMAS Sydney sailors.

Take a look at St Francis Xavier Cathedral - Built in stages from 1914 to its opening in 1938, the Byzantine style architecture of this cathedral is one of Monsignor John Hawes' greatest masterpieces.

We have lunch at Dongara and then drive on to Eneabba a mineral sands mining region. The Eneabba Mount Lesueur Region is one Western Australia’s hot spots for Wildflowers; in the spring season we view the flora close at hand.
 We have afternoon tea at Gingin before driving into Perth.

Day One
Pick up 7am

Day Two
Kalbarri, Shark Bay, Monkey Mia

We visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see The Loop and Nature’s Window a natural rock arch that frames the upstream views.

Shark Bay was World Heritage listed in 1991. Shark Bay is well known for its white beaches, turquoise waters and rust-red sand dunes. It is also renowned for both its terrestrial and marine life. Nature at it's most pure.

Hamelin Pool to view to view Stromatolites, which is one of the earliest forms of life to evolve on our planet. Living fossils, part of the earth’s evolutionary history.

Further explored Shark Bay visit Shell Beach made up of millions of tiny shells.

Eagle Bluff a scenic viewpoint to look over the coast maybe spot a Lemon Shark or a Dugong. Visit Denham and then on to Monkey Mia our overnight stay.

Day Three
Monkey Mia, Kalbarri

This morning up early for breakfast over looking the tranquil waters of Shark Bay and see the dolphins come in to be fed.

After which you’ll enjoy a one hour long boat cruise to see the dolphins in their natural environment and other wonderful sea creatures of the Shark Bay area.

This afternoon we will be travelling to Kalbarri through isolated country where we may see kangaroos, emus, bushland, scrub, straight roads, road houses, road trains and very few vehicles on the isolated roads. All of which is part of your real Western Australian experience.

Visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see Hawks Head Lookout and Ross Graham Lookout.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant over looking the mouth of the Murchison River.

Day Four
Kalbarri Geraldton Dongara Perth

Six  Day Tour

DAY 1 
PERTH – PINNALCES – KALBARRI
From Perth we head north to commence our Pinnacles, Kalbarri, Monkey Mia, Coral Bay, Ningaloo Reef, Exmouth Tour stopping for morning tea on the way to the Pinnacles.

The Pinnacles are made up of thousands of limestone pillars, in a yellow sand dessert resembling an ancient ruin. The sight is spectacular any time of the day, year round.

We will be driving into the Pinnacle Desert so you are a among the Pinnacles to enjoy the true dimension of Nature at its most creative.

We follow the coast line on The Indian Ocean Road heading to Geraldton stopping at sea side town Jurien for lunch.

On to Geraldton the regional hub of the entire Mid West region. The port city has a beautiful coastline and to the east rolling hills and breakaway ranges.

Travelling on to our overnight stay at Kalbarri we past through Northhampton one of the oldest settlements outside Perth today it is classified by the National Trust as a Historic Town.

KALBARRI – SHARK BAY – MONKEY MIA
Visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see The Loop and Nature’s Window a natural rock arch that frames the upstream views.

DAY 3 
MONKEY MIA – CARNARVON – CORAL BAY
After breakfast we will watch the dolphins come up to the beach to be fed at 7.30 am
Join an hour long cruise and see the amazing Monkey Mia dolphins as they frolic in their natural environment. Dugong might also be sighted during summer months. Then we depart for our trip up to Coral Bay.

Passing through Carnarvon the regional hub in the Coral coast’s north and is essential for providing services for the region. The township lies at the mouth of the Gascoyne River and supports horticultural and fishing industries.

Travel on to Coral Bay for our two night stay.

To experience a magnificent pristine environment bring your swimming costumes to really feel and experience nature at close hand.

DAY 4 
CORAL BAY – NINGALOO REEF
Coral Bay is the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef a marine paradise with dazzling under water gardens of coral reef just metres from the pristine shores.

Explore the region up to Exmouth visiting Charles Knife Road with spectacular views of gorges, Exmouth Gulf. Visit Shothole Canyon, and onto Exmouth and see more of Cape Range National Park visiting  Turquoise Bay.

DAY 5
CORAL BAY –  KALBARRI
Today is an early start and have breakfast at one of the road houses, morning tea at Carnarvon and lunch at a road house.

We will be travelling through isolated country where we will see kangaroos, emus, bush turkeys (bustards) termite mounds, bushland, scrub, straight roads, road houses, road trains and very few vehicles on the isolated roads. All of which is part of your real Western Australian experience.

Visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see Hawks Head Lookout and Ross Graham look out.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant over looking the mouth of the Murchison River. A fitting end to our exceptional tour of Western Australia’s Natural highlights.

DAY 6
KALBARRI – PERTH
After an early breakfast we start our trip back to Perth stopping at Dongara  Port Denison  and Gingin to take a break.

We will be travelling through isolated rural country seeing farmland which sheep, cattle and wheat crops, rural communities, bushland, scrub, straight roads and see more vehicles on the isolated roads. This is another perspective on the variation of outback Western Australia.
We will have you back in Perth 5.30pm
