Day One
Perth Geraldton
Pick up 7am

From Perth join the freeway; quickly head north to commence our Geraldton Kalbarri Tour

Visit Lancelin. Lancelin is situated on the sparkling turquoise water of Lancelin Bay and nestled against the spectacular Lancelin sand dune. Originally a crayfishing port Lancelin has become a relaxing holiday village.

The Pinnacles are made up of thousands of limestone pillars in a yellow sand dessert resembling an ancient ruin. The sight is spectacular any time of the day, year round. We will be driving into the Pinnacle Desert so you are able to get out of the vehicle and walk among the Pinnacles to enjoy the true dimension of Nature at its most creative.

We will follow the coast line on The Indian Ocean Road heading to Geraldton stopping at sea side town of Jurien for lunch.

Geraldton is the regional hub of the entire Mid West region, export iron ore, wheat and has a large Lobster fishing industry. The city is situated near beautiful coastline to the west and rolling hills and breakaway ranges to the east. Geraldton is known for its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.

Visit HMAS Sydney Memorial This magnificent memorial has become the country’s premier site for honouring the 645 Australian sailors who were lost without trace during a World War II battle in 1941. The beautifully designed memorial features a silver dome of 645 seagulls to represent the lost Sydney sailors.

Take a look at St Francis Xavier Cathedral - Built in stages from 1914 to its opening in 1938, the Byzantine style architecture of this cathedral is one of Monsignor John Hawes' greatest masterpieces.

Day Two

Geraldton, Northampton, Hutt River Province Kalbarri

Today we have an early start touring first to ;-

Northhampton is one of the oldest settlements outside Perth today it is classified be the National Trust of a Historic Town. Northampton is a diverse region incorporating agriculture, horticulture, and crayfishing.

Hutt River Province – An independent region in Australia, which Prince Leonard and Princess Shirley govern and even, has its own post office.

Kalbarri is nestled at the Murchison River mouth and surrounded by stunning coastline, soaring river gorges and protected bays.

On our way into Kalbarri visit the stunning sights along the coast, Island Rock and Natural Bridge, Shell House, Eagle Gorge, Pot Alley and Red Bluff highlighting the coastal gorges and magnificent scenery.

Enjoy a gourmet dinner at a local restaurant over looking the mouth of the Murchison River. A fitting end to our exceptional tour of Western Australia’s Natural highlights.

Our overnight accommodation is Kalbarri Resort.

Day Three

Kalbarri Dongara Eneabba Badgingarra Perth

An early start for our return trip back to Perth heading inland back to Northampton and down through Geraldton and follow the inland route back to Perth.

Visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see The Loop and Nature’s Window a natural rock arch that frames the upstream views. Travel on to take a look at Hawks Head Lookout and Ross Graham Lookout.

On this tour we will be travelling through isolated rural country seeing farmland, which has sheep, cattle and wheat crops. Mineral Sands mining, rural communities, bushland, scrub, straight roads and isolated roads, stunning coast lines white beaches and aquamarine water. This is another perspective on the variation of outback and rural Western Australia.

Geraldton is renowned world-wide for the quality rock lobster fishing off the coast and is often referred to as the world leader in this area, a result of the pristine waters along the Batavia Coast.

    Shark Bay was World Heritage listed in 1991. Shark Bay is well known for its white beaches, turquoise waters and rust-red sand dunes. It is also renowned for both its terrestrial and marine life.

    Onto Hamelin Pool to view to view Stromatolites, which is one of the earliest forms of life to evolve on our planet. Living fossils, part of the earth’s evolutionary history. we further explored Shark Bay visit Shell Beach made up of millions of tiny shells and Eagle Bluff a scenic viewpoint to look over the coast. Visit Denham and then on to Monkey Mia our overnight stay.

    Day Three
    Monkey Mia Kalbarri

    This morning up early for breakfast and then see the dolphins come in to be fed after which join an hour long boat cruise to see the dolphins in their natural environment and other wonderful sea creatures of the Shark Bay area.

    Travel on to Kalbarri for our overnight stay.

    We will be travelling through isolated country where we will see kangaroos, emus, bushland, scrub, straight roads, road houses, road trains and very few vehicles on the isolated roads. All of which is part of your real Western Australian experience.

    Visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see Hawks Head Lookout and Ross Graham Lookout.

    Day Three
    Denham Carnarvon Coral Bay

    After breakfast we will watch the dolphins come up to the beach to be fed at 7.30 am and then depart for our trip up to Coral Bay.

    Carnarvon is the regional hub in the Coral coast’s north and is essential for providing services for the region. The township lies at the mouth of the Gascoyne River and supports horticultural and fishing industries.

    At Carnarvon visit the famous One Mile Jetty and visit the OTC Dish which is no longer is use. The area offers a terrific panoramic view of the town and surrounding area.

    On to Coral Bay for our two night stay.

    To experience a magnificent pristine environment bring your swimming costumes to really feel and experience nature at close hand.

    Two night stay at Ningaloo Reef Resort

    Day Four
    Coral Bay Exmouth Coral Bay

    Coral Bay is the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef a marine paradise which dazzling under water gardens of coral reef just metres from the pristine shores.

    Explore the region up to Exmouth visiting Charles Knife Road with spectacular views of gorges, Exmouth Gulf. Visit Shothole Canyon, and onto Exmouth and see more of Cape Range National Park visiting Yardie Creek and Turquoise Bay.

    Return to Ningaloo Reef Resort

    Day Five
    Coral Bay Carnarvon Kalbarri

    Early start today have breakfast at one of the road houses, morning tea at Carnarvon and lunch at a road house.

    We will be travelling through isolated country where we will see kangaroos, emus, bush turkeys (bustards) termite mounds, bushland, scrub, straight roads, road houses, road trains and very few vehicles on the isolated roads. All of which is part of your real Western Australian experience.

    Visit the Kalbarri National Park for spectacular views of the Murchison River Gorges to see Hawks Head Lookout and Ross Graham look out.

    Enjoy a gourmet dinner at a local restaurant over looking the mouth of the Murchison River. A fitting end to our exceptional tour of Western Australia’s Natural highlights

    Return to Kalbarri Resort, our overnight stay

    Day Six
    Kalbarri Perth

    After an early breakfast we will have morning tea at Dongara Port Denison lunch at seaside town Jurien and afternoon tea at Gingin.

    We will be travelling through isolated rural country seeing farmland which sheep, cattle and wheat crops, rural communities, bushland, scrub, straight roads and see more vehicles on the isolated roads. This is another perspective on the variation of outback Western Australia.

    We will travel along the coast line on The Indian Ocean Road from Geraldton stopping at sea side town Dongara Port Denison, and then on to Jurien for lunch.
